HeyAuto is the automotive division of iovox, founded in January 2007 by Ryan and Belinda Gallagher. From a small office in the Scottish countryside, iovox got its start doing exactly what HeyAuto does today: helping automotive businesses understand and act on every customer conversation that drives a sale.

AutoTrader UK was among iovox's earliest major customers. From there came Cars.com, Groupe La Centrale, and a long list of dealer groups, marketplaces, and OEM partners spanning more than 100 countries. We've spent the better part of two decades building the call tracking, analytics, and voice infrastructure that the automotive industry runs on, and we know the business: high-intent leads, after-hours inquiries, multi-channel follow-up, and the brutal reality that the first dealership to respond usually wins the deal.

In February 2026, iovox acquired HeyGuest, a UK-based pioneer in conversational AI. That acquisition was a deliberate decision to bring a new generation of AI products to the industries we know best, and automotive sits at the heart of that strategy.
